About Leonard Felson

Leonard Felson writes about the extraordinariness of everyday life. His stories have appeared in Reader's Digest, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, The Jerusalem Report Magazine, Connecticut Magazine, and elsewhere. His career began in California, where he grew up, and after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley. He moved to the East Coast and became a staff writer for The Hartford Courant, America's oldest continuously published newspaper. He writes about old, industrial cities, including Hartford, Conn., where he lives; the Jewish world, which he's part of; and dramatic moments of transformation.
